The Chief Operating Officer (COO) as a partner to the CEO shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization. While reporting to the CEO, collaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop and execute the organization’s long-term vision and strategy with support from the Board/Shareholders. The COO shall work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to implement plans to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives. The COO is expected understand business vision from CEO and Board/Shareholders and build OKRs that align with vision and objectives.
The COO is expected to make the workflow more organized, structured and automated. to drive execution by removing roadblocks.

Implementation of Digitalisation
The COO is expected to be the project manager/owner for various digitalisation initiatives. The department head is the “owner” of system requirements
Comment: proper processes in place, running and measured (plan & effect)
Maybe required to represent the CEO in management and board meetings in the absence of CEO
At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. Degrees in other fields are acceptable as long as combined with experience relevant for the position.
15+ years of experience with around 10 years in a leadership role
Extensive experience of leading execution of digitalisation initiatives such as ERP, CRM, etc. is a must
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance
Excellent communication and interpersonal & team building skills
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Business process mapping and improvement proven experience
